Sacha Inchi Oil comes from the Inca peanut and grows in the Peruvian Amazon. The seeds, from which the oils are extracted, grow inside the fruit capsules and are said to contain from 49% to 54% in oils.
Sacha Inchi oil contains both Omega 6, 9 and Omega 3s. The Omega 6 and 9 we get in excess in our diets anyway, so it is the Omega 3 that is important.The Omega 3 content is high as compared to other VEGETABLE origin oils, with an average of 48% Omega 3 content.
Vegetable oils such as Sacha Inchi Oil are however beneficial as part of a general diet but only cold in the form of dressings etc, not for cooking.
Sacha Inchi Oil contains 48% Omega 3, 33% Omega 6 and 9% Omega 9 essential fatty acid composition. Sacha Inchi Oil provides an ideal balance between Omega 3,6 and 9 essential oils for a healthy cardiovasular, nervous, immune and metabolic system. Sacha Inci Oil can also be added to creams to revitalise tired skin.
Storage: Unopened bottles will last for 1 year in a cool, dark place. Opened bottles should be consumed within 6 weeks.
