Green Hands Organic Cuticle & Nail Oil
8.06/10

Comments:

  • "Nails were bad after false ones: this was a pleasure to use and smell, and I saw a great improvement in strengthening of nails in a month, plus softer cuticles"
  • "nails more flexible and less prone to breaking; good for cuticles used once or twice daily: I liked this product and it does all I would expect"
  • "really good at softening my very sore and dry cuticles, and my dry, weak nails became more flexible and smooth-looking within a month: really impressed with this oil".

Organic Cuticle Oil helps to encourage nail growth, nail strength and prevent britlle and peeling nails. An intensive combination of cold pressed organically grown plant oils, this nail strengthener has shown to improve nail strength and growth within two to four weeks of regular use. Essential Oil ingredients deliver the power of Aromatherapy to your nails, helping them grow stronger and longer.

If you have peeling or brittle nails, nails that break easily this oil may help to improve strength, flexibility and length.  Ideal for people with a busy lifestyle, their hands in water a lot, working with paper, those in manual or care positions, people who work outside and get chapped and sore fingers in cold and wet weather.

Treatment Guidelines:
Use once a day, every day, or more as required. Set up a routine, perhaps keep it at your bedside and massage your cuticles and nail area with a single drop of oil at bedtime. Try and find a time where you won’t be washing your hands every five minutes. The massage you do will nourish the nail from the inside by stimulating blood flow, the mixture of essential oils will nourish the skin and nail and stop you loosing so much moisture from the inside out. This allows the nail to maintain its own flexibility. Noticeable results have been recorded within 2 to 4 weeks of using this oil. Continue to use your other treatments (hand creams, gentle hand soaps) as normal.

Simmondsia chinensis, Prunus dulcis, Citrus aurantium, Boswellia sp.

Is There a Natural Treatment for Hives

Q My daughter suffers with hives – red lumps over her body – when she overheats. Her doctor prescribed an antihistamine, which takes out the itch but not the lumps. A I used to get similar weals from monosodium glutamate, which is often added to Chinese and Thai foods... read more

The Glam Guide to Spring

I always feel a bit penned in towards the end of March. Spring hasn’t quite arrived on our doorsteps and, feeling cooped up after what seems like months of snow, sleet and rain, I like to make a list of all the places I’ll visit when the sun comes out. A Little Glamorous Black Book of places to... read more

Summer Legs

Ah, summer days. How gloriously sun-drenched. How carefree. Carefree, that is, unless you have ‘leg issues’. From late September through till mid-spring, of course, anyone who feels theirs are less-than-show-offable can retreat into opaque tights, and nobody’s any the wiser. But come shorter hemlines and days when even 10 deniers... read more

Stress and Injury

There can be no doubt that the positives of an active lifestyle far outweigh any negatives, but unfortunately with any training and exercise comes a risk of injury. We’ve written articles in the past on combating low energy and motivation levels but there is surely no obstacle more frustrating than injury. There is never a good time to pick up an injury, but more often than not... read more

Common Foot Complaints

You would be utterly surprised at the number of "everyday" skin conditions which can affect the skin and nails of the feet and with this in mind I have been working on the formulation of a new Hygiene Cream for feet to address many of these everyday conditions. The hygiene cream launch coincides with the celebration by Margaret Dabbs Clinics of ‘World Foot Health Awareness Month’ in May and is a must-have in any bathroom cabinet... read more

Tomato Beauty

In the 16th Century, tomatoes were given the name ‘love apples’. The story goes that the Spanish conquistadors, returning home from Peru, brought with them a new and delicious plant from which could be harvested the most luscious, juicy, vibrantly coloured fruit. Some Europeans thought it poisonous. (It is, after all, a member of the... read more

Free Your Breath

Through all the years I’ve been trying to stay healthy by eating well, exercising, taking vitamins, attempting to meditate, it’s only now I really understand that breathing properly is the simplest trick most of us miss in the equation. We can be forgiven of course, as it’s something we all do automatically - approximately 12-18 times a minute of every day. We don’t have to give it a second... read more

Gill meets Margaret Dabbs

What was the inspiration that drove you to launch Margaret Dabbs, London? I was working as a Podiatrist in my own Clinic in Central London and I felt the need to treat feet the way I wanted mine to be treated. I wanted them to feel good, but also to look good, and I set about creating treatments that did just that! It really wasn’t... read more
