Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment with eucalyptus, pine and thyme oil has been used for centuries as a useful remedy to help soothe cuts, sores, bruises, sprains, burns, chilblains, insect bites and many more ailments.

First appearing on chemists’ shelves in 1903, in a time before antibiotics, Zam-Buk traditional antiseptic ointment was an important first-aid medicine for any cuts or abrasions of the skin, preventing infection which, without treatment, could lead to certain death. By the middle of the 20th century, with the invention of penicillin and other antibiotics, Zam–Buk had disappeared from our medicine cupboards.

Famously endorsed by the great Harry Houdini himself to help soothe his sore wrists after his escapology feats, Zam-Buk Antiseptic Ointment is useful remedy to keep in your first aid kit or in your handbag. Always keep a tin handy.
