It is needed to product hydrochloric acid, which breaks down food in the stomach and to make DNA. The body must have vitamin B6 to produce both anti-bodies and red blood cells. It breaks down foods to produce energy and helps keep the digestive and nervous systems healthy. It is also a natural diuretic and so can help prevent bloating caused by water retention.
