It helps promote a healthy nervous system, stimulates the production of natural corticosteroid by the adrenals, supports the sinuses and can help the body recover more quickly from surgery. Vitamin B5 is also a stamina enhancer and prevents certain forms of anaemia. Its respiratory effects are likened to the use of steroidal sprays that are frequently used for asthma. Deficiencies of pantothenic acid can lead to chronic constipation.
