Eclectic Herbals Milk Thistle Tincture provides a high strength of 1:1 ratio of milk thistle seed to grape alcohol. The inclusion of grape alcohol speeds the absorption of the milk thistle into the bloodstream.

The liver is the largest organ in the body and is the main biochemical factory in our bodies, continually processing and synthesizing nutrients in an attempt to meet the needs of the body and maintain homeostasis. The liver performs a host of essential functions such as carbohydrate and protein metabolism, storage of vitamins and minerals, and the removal, storage and excretion of toxic substances from the blood. Additionally, the liver excretes bile into the digestive tract to facilitate the digestion and absorption of fats, fat-soluble vitamins and protein. Because of the constant metabolic activity and exposure to poisons and toxins that occurs with the liver, its tissues and cells are subject to damage from free radicals and toxic build up.

Milk Thistle Tincture helps to protect the liver from toxins and pollutants by preventing free radical damage and stimulates the production of new liver cells. Milk Thistle is also good for gall bladder and adrenal disorders, inflammatory bowel disorders, psoriasis,  a weakened immune system and all liver disorders.

Directions: (Shake well) mix 15-30 drops in water; take 1-3 times daily. Discontinue use if unusual symptoms occur. Consult your health provider about the use of herbs during pregnancy, with infants, or with prescription drugs. Keep out of the reach of children.
