Nature's Plus Licorice DGL provides the deglycyrrhised form of licorice which does not affect blood pressure.

Licorice is a prolific perennial herb that has long been used for culinary and health related purposes. Nature's Plus Herbal Actives Licorice DGL root extract is uniformly standardized to <2% (<10 mg) glycyrrhizin to guarantee that each and every capsule provides consistent potency and activity. Each capsule, providing the greatest concentration of active botanical principles, maximizes the synergistic benefits of the whole root which naturally contains flavonoids, Isoflavonoids and coumarins.

Benefits of Licorice DGL:

Licorice DGL helps to fight inflammation and viral, bacterial and parasitic infection. Beneficial for allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue, depression, emphysema, infection, glandular functions, inflammatory bowel disorders, premenstrual syndrome, menopausal symptoms and upper respiratory infections. The deglycyrrhised form of licorice (DGL ) is clinically proven to treat ulcers and gastritis in the whole of the gastrointestinal tract particularly the upper half. This is due to its ability to stimulate the normal defence mechanisms that prevent ulcer formation. DGL improves the integrity of the mucosal surfaces of the intestinal cells as well as improving the supply to them. DGL also soothes the mucosal cells of the gastrointestinal tract helping to calm inflammatory bowel concerns.

Dosage: Take one to three capsules of Licorice DGL daily.
