Viridian Nutrition KiwiZyme™ is a unique kiwi fruit extract. Combined with Aloe vera inner leaf extract and FOS prebiotic.
KiwiZyme™ capsules is a combination of New Zealand sourced Kiwi Fruit extract. Kiwi fruit extract also includes the fruit flesh to provide significantly high and guaranteed levels of the digestive protease enzyme called Actinidin. Protease digestive enzymes help to break down protein into amino acids. The active ingredient of the kiwi, Digesten®, is gently extracted using an environmentally-friendly practise that minimises any waste.
Unlike kiwifruit from the supermarket that may have been ripened artificially to increase shelf life, and therefore lost a lot of goodness, KiwiZyme is from fresh fruit, sustainably grown in conditions that improve its nutritional quality.
Clinical trials have reported significant improvements in bowel movement frequency, and relief from abdominal pain and bloating, after just two weeks supplementing with 1000mg/day of kiwi fruit extract[1]. An additional trial found dietary fibre from kiwi fruit improved constipation in over 50% of subjects, leading to a significant reduction in use of laxatives[2].
