For external use only. Keep out of reach of young children. Avoid contact with eyes.  Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if needed. Keep out of reach of young children.  Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging.  Many sun creams contain a filter (ingredient) which helps to protect the skin from the sun's rays.  In some cases, this can interact with certain fabrics and may stain clothes or other fabrics.  It is for this reason care should be taken when applying sunscreen around clothing.

Does COOLA use harmful chemicals?
COOLA products NEVER use ingredients that can be harmful. COOLA follow a strictly restricted ingredient list that goes beyond industry standards. It excludes over 1400 questionable or harmful ingredients from all formulations. As a result, you'll never find ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, oxybenzone, and octinoxate.

Does COOLA use fragrance in their products?
COOLA offers natural fragrances and fragrance-free options. They do not use synthetic fragrances in their products. All COOLA fragrances are 100% natural, only sourced from plants, and tested for safety and irritation. The newer formulas, including the skincare line, are also EU allergen-free.

Is there aersol in COOLA sprays?
COOLA does NOT use harmful aerosol in their spray cans.
COOLA wants to give their users the safest options when it comes to the sunscreens you put on your body. For that reason, they do not use harmful aerosol in their spray cans. An aerosol is bad for you to breathe and also harmful to the environment!
COOLA uses air-compression, so spray cans are safe to use on and around the face. Additionally, this air-compressed bag and valve technology allow you to use every last drop of sunscreen!

Are COOLA sunscreens safe for kids?|
Yes all Coola sunscreens are safe to use on kids 6 months and older.
However, everyone has different sensitivities and suggest doing a small patch test on each child prior to use. The Mineral formulations are perfect for kids with skin sensitivites.

How are Classic and Mineral sunscreens different?
Classic and Mineral Sunscreens are differentiated by their active sun protection ingredients.
Classic sunscreens use chemical (also commonly referred as “non-mineral” or “traditional”) active ingredients designed to absorb and dissipate UVA/UVB rays, while Mineral sunscreens use mineral (also commonly referred to as “physical”) active ingredients such as Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide to scatter and reflect UVA/UVB rays. All of our formulations, both Classic and Mineral, guarantee broad-spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays! Those with sensitive skin should try the Mineral formulations!

Can I use COOLA products while pregnant?
Yes, all COOLA products are safe for use during pregnancy as well as while nursing. Before using COOLA products, however, we highly recommend reaching out to your physician for guidance. Every person and pregnancy is different, and it's important to have your healthcare professional address any specific concerns.

Is COOLA gluten-free?
Coola products are gluten-free. However, Coola do not have dedicated manufacturing equipment for gluten-free products to guarantee no gluten cross-contamination.

Can I use expired sunscreen?
We don't recommend using an expired product.
After the printed expiration date, the sunscreen actives will start to lose their effectiveness. This is not to say it is entirely ineffective; however, we can no longer claim the SPF levels listed on the bottle. Because of this, we always recommend using your product before expiration to ensure you are receiving complete SPF protection.
