Roses

With Valentine’s Day just a week or so away, it’s likely you’ll have seen your fair share of rose-themed gifts. The flower has been associated with romance for centuries. It’s thought that the Romans used to carpet their bedroom floor with rose petals to create a fragrant bed.

New research suggests that we should be embracing the scent of rose all year round and not just in February. When researching the scents that influenced drivers, scientists at Sussex University discovered that rose has the potential to lower rage levels.
