Ginseng

Ginseng is used throughout the Far East as a general tonic to combat weakness and give extra energy. There are four main types of Gingseng, Siberian (Eleutherococcus senticosus), American (Panax quinquefolium), Chinese or Korean (Panax ginseng) and Japanese (Panax japonicum).

All ginseng supplements work on the adrenals, the body's main stress reducing and energising glands, helping to reduce the levels of the stress hormone, cortisol.
