Cherry Fruit

The cherry fruit has a remarkably potent vitamin C content. Outdoing even rose hips, it is the richest of all fruits for this vitamin, having more than twenty times that of an orange, and containing as much as 4000 mg per 100 g of fruit. Cherry fruits also contain flavonoids, powerful antioxidants, that protect the joint tissues as well as helping to eliminate acidic compounds that cause pain and stiffness making them especially useful for all arthritic symptoms including gout.
