This Works powerful no wrinkles active serum releases encapsulated Vitamin C into the skin over time to deliver long-lasting benefits. Vitamin C helps fight free radicals that age the skin, diminishing pigmentation from age spots and freckles and encourages cell renewal for a younger looking, more even complexion. High concentrations of Vitamin C also promote the formation of collagen in the skin so when This Works no wrinkles active serum is applied, an enzyme present in the skin reacts with the Vitamin C-Glucose complex to slowly release this valuable vitamin, resulting in visibly enhanced skin over a prolonged period of time.

Meanwhile, Yellow Green Algae hydrates and tightens the skin, noticeably smoothing fine lines and wrinkles while promoting the formation of collagen: it also provides a protective shield against oxidative stress. Larch Extract is a highly effective polysaccharide which works to enhance the skin barrier, providing moisturisation to the surface of the skin for a smoother complexion with reduced fine lines over time. Combined with sea minerals and British grown Crambe – This Works is the first skincare brand to use organically-certified Crambe Oil to restore hydration – skin will feel more toned and revitalised whilst moisture is locked in and the natural lipid barrier reinforced, leaving dry and damaged skin feeling nourished and repaired.

Directions: Apply to clean skin morning and evening underneath a moisturiser.

Eat Like a Yogi

Staying at an ashram in the Himalayas taught me a lot about eating. Not just the food itself, but how and why we eat the way we do, and the impact on our emotions and bodies. In the run up to my trip, I read on the ashram’s website that they follow a ‘Sattvic’ diet. I had no idea what that meant, but the list ... read more

The Great British Beach Tan

British beaches are wonderful. I know; I happen to live 250 yards from one. Shingle. Seagulls. Blistering sunshine. (Yes, really, on a good day – and you can read my guide to my hometown here.) Now, Club 55/St. Tropez, Hastings beach is not. I can’t think of anywhere on our coastline, actually, where you have to worry about... read more

Common Foot Complaints

You would be utterly surprised at the number of "everyday" skin conditions which can affect the skin and nails of the feet and with this in mind I have been working on the formulation of a new Hygiene Cream for feet to address many of these everyday conditions. The hygiene cream launch coincides with the celebration by Margaret Dabbs Clinics of ‘World Foot Health Awareness Month’ in May and is a must-have in any bathroom cabinet. It is particularly good for feet that suffer... read more
