BetterYou™ Magnesium Oil uses a super saturated magnesium chloride, solutioned mined in Northern Europe from the ancient Zechstein sea mineral deposits, one mile below the surface of the earth. Other sources of magnesium chloride are farmed from open seas and unfortunately contain a growing amount of heavy metals, toxins and pollutants absorbed from over one hundred years of industrialisation.

Zechstein Inside® products: the purest natural magnesium chloride in the world. During the Zechstein era, 250 million years ago, the oceans were subject to considerable evaporation. The remains of this crystallised ‘Zechstein Sea', containing many types of mineral salts, is situated under large parts of northern Europe and Russia. The world's purest natural deposits of magnesium chloride can be mined one mile beneath Veendam in the Netherlands.

Zechstein Inside® has been formulated primarily for topical use. Essential magnesium is absorbed directly into the skin tissue, entering the cells immediately. Magnesium Oil efficiently replaces magnesium lost through modern diet and pressured lifestyles.

Zechstein Inside® Magnesium Chloride has remained protected from man-made pollutants for over 250 million years and is considered the benchmark for pharmaceutical grade magnesium. This is why this product has been chosen by notable institutions such as Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Royal London Hospitals as well as GPs and practitioners worldwide.

Magnesium Oil Original Soak provides you with the most relaxing and therapeutic body or foot bath you have ever experienced. Each 100ml dose delivers 14 grams of the purest elemental magnesium. Magnesium Oil delivers this essential mineral in its most absorbable form. This Zechstein Sea mineral source has been naturally filtered and condensed and is uncontaminated by man-made pollution.

Skin Health: An excellent and essential mineral to enhance skin integrity. Softens skin and repairs skin structure, strength and elasticity. Suitable for all skin disorders including eczema, psoriasis and acne.

The Glam Guide to Spring

I always feel a bit penned in towards the end of March. Spring hasn’t quite arrived on our doorsteps and, feeling cooped up after what seems like months of snow, sleet and rain, I like to make a list of all the places I’ll visit when the sun comes out. Summer Legs

Ah, summer days. How gloriously sun-drenched. How carefree. Carefree, that is, unless you have ‘leg issues’. From late September through till mid-spring, of course, anyone who feels theirs are less-than-show-offable can retreat into opaque tights, and nobody’s any the wiser. But come shorter hemlines and days when even 10 deniers... read more

Stress and Injury

There can be no doubt that the positives of an active lifestyle far outweigh any negatives, but unfortunately with any training and exercise comes a risk of injury. We’ve written articles in the past on combating low energy and motivation levels but there is surely no obstacle more frustrating than injury. There is never a good time to pick up an injury, but more often than not... read more

Common Foot Complaints

You would be utterly surprised at the number of "everyday" skin conditions which can affect the skin and nails of the feet and with this in mind I have been working on the formulation of a new Hygiene Cream for feet to address many of these everyday conditions. Tomato Beauty

In the 16th Century, tomatoes were given the name ‘love apples’. The story goes that the Spanish conquistadors, returning home from Peru, brought with them a new and delicious plant from which could be harvested the most luscious, juicy, vibrantly coloured fruit. Some Europeans thought it poisonous. (It is, after all, a member of the... read more

Free Your Breath

Through all the years I’ve been trying to stay healthy by eating well, exercising, taking vitamins, attempting to meditate, it’s only now I really understand that breathing properly is the simplest trick most of us miss in the equation. We can be forgiven of course, as it’s something we all do automatically - approximately 12-18 times a minute of every day. We don’t have to give it a second... read more

Gill meets Margaret Dabbs

What was the inspiration that drove you to launch Margaret Dabbs, London? I was working as a Podiatrist in my own Clinic in Central London and I felt the need to treat feet the way I wanted mine to be treated. I wanted them to feel good, but also to look good, and I set about creating treatments that did just that! It really wasn’t... read more
